NU ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING FIRM , since its establishment by Eng. Dipl. Ş. Necati UZAKGÖREN in 1970, gives engineering service on both national and abroad major contracted
projects. NU ENGINEERING , in the undertaken projects, mostly focuses on the service fields of construction and mechanical engineering, consulting and controlling, besides the preliminary works and quantity surveys needed for projects, drafting tender files, and preparing technical specifications by its specialized engineers, technicians and managerial staff.
With its mechanical department, the firm also gives service on projects of heating, cooling, ventilation, air conditioning, fire systems, natural gas, LPG and sanitary installations. Moreover,
within these projects, service on consulting, controlling, and contracting business is provided.
NU ENGINEERING , besides submitting tender by its construction and mechanical department to related projects, gives also service in the disciplines of construction, mechanical and electrical engineering, and architecture by participating as a project group mostly in grand housing and industrial facilities design, and actualizes necessary coordination, control and implementations.

In addition to the above mentioned projects, a broad portfolio of building solutions through posttension and pre-tension is offered. Furthermore, detailed solution alternatives are performed according to the special materials (e.g. particular type of steel profiles, aerated concrete,prefabricated components, wood, etc…) that are preferred to be used in the ordered projects.
NU ENGINEERING prepares projects on alteration, repair and strengthening of current housing and industrial facilities with decades of experience. Earthquake reports are prepared for those structures – even facilitating joint working with related chambers and universities on necessity.
Computation & drawing programs – that are used in the project design- domestic and foreign regulations & specifications and material catalogues are provided in both hardcopy and softcopy in the firm’s inventory. All of the materials mentioned are renewed upon changes and essential documents are obtained abroad for the specialized projects.
Ş. Necati UZAKGÖREN, the founder of NU ENGINEERING, and his technical crew are members of Chamber of Construction Engineers (İMO)’s technical and education committee. Furthermore, they also;

• Make contributions to renewing of the Earthquake Regulations,
• Every year, participate to the organizations held by IMO as conferencier and/or lecturer,
• Make contributions to the books prepared by IMO,
• Participate in the central and local administration of IMO,
• Make contributions to the committee preparing Turkish Standards (TS) and standards for Prefabricated Buildings,
• Take active role in preparing the Earthquake Master Plan (Project Radius) of İzmir under the contributions and supervision of United Nations.
